I’m about to make a claim that something is better than something else. I don’t think anything is universally anything, so I’ll define the axis I’m evaluating: Effort and Ease. It happens to be a polarity I am currently noticing in many areas. I find myself questioning my default to assume “more effort is better”. I think it’s possible to live in ease over effort in many cases – at least that is something I’m exploring.
That said, telling yourself something like, “I’m fine I’m fine I’m fine,” when you’re really not but you want to be really only works if you are okay with living in the frequency of effort. Fighting the current “what is” takes a lot of effort to maintain that reality – then, actually, a lot of energy is being put towards literally maintaining that reality, it never gives you the chance to actually change the reality. Or if it does – it’s just a lot of unnessicary suffering to get there.
So how do you get to the new one?
I think, paradoxically, of course.
What if you said:
“I’m not fine.”
“There is part of me that is not fine.”
First, you acknowledge what exists in the current configuration of now: “I am not fine.” You anchor to that – acknowledge and accept the current state without judgement or needing it to be anything else.
Then, you open up to know that within all of the possibility of you (what I call the I AM field) to create the awareness that the “I’m not fine” is just one instance. So there is part of you (of the ALL of you) that is not fine.
Then you can have awareness of the part of you that is fine.
In the timeless I AM field – three things are true (I am not, I am, and I want).
In linear time:
- I am not: Current Now
- I am: Some different Now in the future.
- I want: Bridge between states – this is the orientation that moves you into the current of your desire.
It reminds me a lot of the 7th symbol in the movie Stargate – 6 symbols to triangulate the destination, and 1 point as the origination point. And perhaps, the more honest we can be with ourselves with where we are starting, the easier it is to jump into that wormhole that gets us to the destination of our choosing.
